Anger and thankfulness

Yesterday morning my parents house was invaded by two masked men that robbed their home. These lowest scum of the earth knew exactly what they were looking for. My father being the avid hunter that he is has a small aresenal and they took ALL of his guns including collector guns, and one my granddad had given him. They then knew how much diamond jewelry that my mother had and they took it all except for the wedding rings on her hands. The police were able to get some good fingerprints and they said that the guns unless used in a crime will more than likely be recovered but they said my mothers jewelry is more than likely gone forever.
The unsettling thought is these lowlife's knew where everything was and my parents habits. SO THEY KNOW AND HAVE BEEN IN THE HOME BEFORE.
I am angry and hope they catch these punks but I am thankful that my parents are safe. Guns and jewelry can be replaced but my parents can not.

So sorry to hear this...but your parents are safe and as you said...they are irreplaceable. It's a sad state of affairs that our homes are not safe.
